Pastel Artists of Oregon (PAO) is a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS), a prestigious organization that promotes the fine art of pastel worldwide. PAO is registered with the State of Oregon and the Federal Government as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

PAO’s mission is to provide members and the public with events to promote the art of pastel through exhibitions, educational opportunities in workshops and public venues, and networking with communities and other pastelists to elevate the art of pastel.
With your PAO membership, you can showcase your work in our Member Art Gallery and provide a link to your own website; earn Signature and Master Pastelist membership status; and, participate in online and live Exhibitions throughout the State.

EXHIBITionS
Each year PAO hosts either the Membership Online Exhibition (MOX) or the Spirit of Pastel (SOP) International Open Juried Exhibition.
EVENTS
Enjoy Pop-Up Regional Exhibitions and Paint-Where-You-Are events organized by our Regional Representatives, as well as PAO-hosted demonstrations by accomplished and well-known pastel artists, at our quarterly General Membership Meetings. These demos are then posted and available to view on our YouTube channel.
